Welcome to DraftWRX.
The terms "DraftWRX", "we", "us", and "our" refer to DraftWRX.
DraftWRX operates this website and online store and provides digital AutoCAD templates, drafting tools, CAD resources, downloadable files, and related digital products and services.
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the DraftWRX website, store, digital products, and related services.
By accessing our website, purchasing a product, downloading a digital product, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services or purchase DraftWRX products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
By using our services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction or are using the services with appropriate permission or supervision where required by law.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
You may not sell, transfer, assign, or provide your DraftWRX account or account access to another person without our written permission.
SECTION 2 – DIGITAL PRODUCTS
DraftWRX primarily sells digital products.
These products may include:
- AutoCAD templates
- DWT files
- CTB plot style files
- LISP tools
- CAD libraries
- Drawing resources
- Drafting blocks
- Titleblocks
- Digital guides
- Installation documentation
- ZIP packages
- Other downloadable drafting resources
No physical product will be shipped unless expressly stated on the relevant product page.
Digital products are normally delivered electronically through a download link, customer account, email, or authorised digital delivery system.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to the email account used when placing your order.
SECTION 3 – PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, screenshots, features, compatibility information, and other product information are accurate.
Digital product previews, screenshots, mockups, and promotional materials are provided for illustrative purposes.
The exact appearance of a product may vary depending on your AutoCAD version, software configuration, operating system, display settings, installed fonts, third-party software, or user customisation.
DraftWRX may improve, update, modify, replace, or discontinue products or product features where reasonably necessary.
Material changes will not limit mandatory rights available to customers under applicable law.
SECTION 4 – SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
Customers are responsible for reviewing the listed software compatibility and system requirements before purchasing a DraftWRX product.
DraftWRX products may be designed for specific versions of AutoCAD or related software.
Compatibility is only represented for software versions specifically identified as supported on the relevant product page or product documentation.
We do not guarantee compatibility with:
- Unsupported AutoCAD versions
- Modified software installations
- Pirated or unauthorised software
- Third-party CAD software unless specifically stated
- Custom plugins or extensions
- Unsupported operating systems
- Future software versions released after the DraftWRX product
Software compatibility issues caused by unsupported systems do not automatically qualify for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
SECTION 5 – ORDERS AND PAYMENT
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected DraftWRX product.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and your order has been confirmed.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
- Suspected fraud
- Unauthorised payment activity
- Pricing or technical errors
- Abuse of our services
- Violation of these Terms
If we cancel a paid order before the digital product is supplied, an appropriate refund will be issued where required.
You agree to provide accurate billing, payment, and contact information.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
SECTION 6 – PRICING AND TAXES
Product prices are displayed on our website and may change without prior notice.
The price charged will generally be the price displayed when your order is submitted, subject to correction of genuine and obvious pricing or technical errors as permitted by applicable law.
Promotional pricing, launch pricing, discount codes, and limited-time offers may be subject to additional conditions.
Applicable taxes may be charged where required by law.
International customers may be responsible for taxes, duties, fees, or other charges imposed by their jurisdiction where applicable.
SECTION 7 – DIGITAL DELIVERY
Digital products are normally made available after successful payment.
Delivery may occur through:
- A download page
- A customer account
- A secure download link
- An authorised digital delivery provider
Download or access delays may occasionally occur because of payment verification, technical issues, service provider interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore access to a legitimately purchased product.
SECTION 8 – LICENCE TO USE DRAFTWRX PRODUCTS
Purchasing a DraftWRX digital product does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual property to you.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate licence agreement, DraftWRX grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the purchased product in accordance with these Terms and the licence documentation supplied with the product.
You may use DraftWRX products for your own drafting work and, where permitted by the applicable product licence, professional or commercial project work.
You may create drawings, plans, documentation, and project deliverables using DraftWRX products.
You may not:
- Resell a DraftWRX product
- Redistribute the original product files
- Share download links
- Upload DraftWRX files to file-sharing websites
- Provide copies to colleagues, companies, clients, students, or third parties unless expressly permitted by the licence
- Repackage DraftWRX products
- Claim DraftWRX products as your own
- Sell modified versions of DraftWRX products
- Remove or intentionally alter copyright or licence notices
- Use DraftWRX files to create a competing template, library, resource pack, or digital product for resale
- Circumvent licence or access restrictions
Each purchase is subject to the licence terms supplied with the applicable product.
Where a separate End User License Agreement or product licence is provided, that licence forms part of the agreement governing your use of the product.
SECTION 9 – STRUCTURAL AND TECHNICAL DISCLAIMER
DraftWRX products are drafting and workflow resources.
DraftWRX is not providing structural engineering, architectural, certification, approval, or professional design services through the sale of its digital products.
Templates, steel section drawings, blocks, layers, hatches, titleblocks, drafting tools, and other resources are provided to assist with drafting workflows.
They must not be treated as a substitute for professional engineering judgement, design calculations, project specifications, applicable standards, building regulations, or review by an appropriately qualified professional.
Users are responsible for:
- Verifying dimensions
- Verifying section sizes and properties
- Checking project-specific requirements
- Confirming applicable codes and standards
- Reviewing drawing accuracy
- Obtaining required professional approvals
DraftWRX does not guarantee that a template or drafting resource is suitable for every project, jurisdiction, design condition, or engineering application.
SECTION 10 – STEEL SECTIONS AND INDUSTRY INFORMATION
Certain DraftWRX products may contain drawings, references, dimensions, names, or representations relating to commonly recognised steel sections or industry standards.
DraftWRX does not claim ownership of third-party standards, standardised steel section designations, manufacturer trademarks, or proprietary technical information owned by others.
Where industry information is included, it is provided as a drafting resource.
Users remain responsible for verifying technical information against current applicable standards, manufacturer information, engineering requirements, and project specifications before use.
SECTION 11 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the DraftWRX website, branding, product packaging, original templates, layer systems, CAD resources, documentation, graphics, videos, written content, product structure, and original digital materials are owned by or licensed to DraftWRX.
These materials may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
The DraftWRX name, logo, product names, designs, and slogans may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests ownership, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
No intellectual property rights are transferred to you except for the limited rights expressly granted under the applicable product licence.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
SECTION 12 – REFUNDS
Purchases are subject to the DraftWRX Refund Policy.
Because DraftWRX products are digital and may be delivered or accessed immediately, purchases are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once the digital product has been accessed, downloaded, or supplied, except where required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Please review our Refund Policy before completing your purchase.
SECTION 13 – PRODUCT UPDATES
DraftWRX may release updates, improvements, corrections, or new versions of digital products.
Unless expressly stated on the product page, purchasing a product does not guarantee lifetime access to every future major version, new product, expansion, or separately released resource.
Where updates are included with a purchase, the scope and duration of those updates may be stated on the relevant product page or licence documentation.
DraftWRX may discontinue support for older product versions where reasonably necessary.
SECTION 14 – THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
DraftWRX products may be designed for use with third-party software, including AutoCAD.
DraftWRX is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Autodesk unless expressly stated otherwise.
AutoCAD and Autodesk are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.
Your use of third-party software remains subject to the terms and licences of the applicable third-party provider.
DraftWRX is not responsible for changes made to third-party software that affect product compatibility.
SECTION 15 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
DraftWRX uses Shopify to provide and operate parts of our online store.
Purchases made through the DraftWRX store are transactions directly between you and DraftWRX.
Shopify is not the seller of DraftWRX digital products.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shopify is not responsible for DraftWRX products, product performance, customer support, or disputes relating to purchases made from DraftWRX.
SECTION 16 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our services may use or link to third-party websites, applications, payment providers, or technology services.
DraftWRX does not control all third-party services.
Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
DraftWRX is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of third-party services that we do not control.
SECTION 17 – CUSTOMER FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS
If you submit a review, testimonial, suggestion, or other feedback to DraftWRX, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
You grant DraftWRX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display the feedback for operating, improving, and promoting DraftWRX.
We will not intentionally alter a testimonial in a way that materially misrepresents the customer's opinion.
You may not submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or malicious content.
SECTION 18 – PROHIBITED USE
You may not use the DraftWRX website, services, or products:
- For unlawful purposes
- To infringe intellectual property rights
- To distribute malware or malicious code
- To gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts
- To commit fraud
- To scrape or extract protected product content for unauthorised commercial use
- To bypass download, licence, or access restrictions
- To redistribute DraftWRX digital products
- To create competing digital products using DraftWRX files or protected original content
- To falsely represent yourself as DraftWRX or an authorised DraftWRX representative
We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms or an applicable product licence have been materially violated.
SECTION 19 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DraftWRX products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that every product will meet every customer's specific workflow, project requirements, or expectations.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website or download availability.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
SECTION 20 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DraftWRX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
This may include loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, project delays, or business interruption.
DraftWRX is not responsible for structural, engineering, architectural, construction, or professional decisions made using DraftWRX drafting resources.
Users remain responsible for reviewing, checking, and approving their own drawings and project documentation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
SECTION 21 – INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold DraftWRX harmless from third-party claims arising directly from:
- Your unlawful use of our services
- Your unauthorised redistribution of DraftWRX products
- Your infringement of third-party rights
- Your material breach of these Terms or an applicable product licence
This section does not require you to indemnify DraftWRX for liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.
SECTION 22 – TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
We may suspend or terminate access to our services where reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful activity, security risks, or a material violation of these Terms or an applicable product licence.
Termination does not grant permission to continue redistributing, selling, or otherwise misusing DraftWRX intellectual property.
Provisions relating to intellectual property, licensing, liability, and other provisions that reasonably need to survive termination will remain effective.
SECTION 23 – PRIVACY
Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by the DraftWRX Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge that personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other authorised service providers used to operate our store.

SECTION 24 – ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
We reserve the right to correct genuine typographical errors, technical errors, pricing inaccuracies, or product information errors.
Where an error materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to contact the affected customer and provide an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law.
SECTION 25 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdictional rules, disputes relating to these Terms or DraftWRX services will be governed by South African law.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising rights available under mandatory applicable consumer protection law.
SECTION 26 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
SECTION 27 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any applicable product licence or End User License Agreement, form the agreement governing your use of DraftWRX services and digital products.
Where a product-specific licence contains additional terms relating to the use of a digital product, those licence terms will also apply.
SECTION 28 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, or legal obligations.
The updated Terms will be published on our website and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
Where required by applicable law, notice of material changes will be provided.
